Saturday saw a good race, Sunday disappointment with the weather interruption and a silly decision from race officials.

Saturday's performance from Lowndes was strong, lucky with the safety car, but a fast car with good strategy was rewarded. Mostert was too good and the Red Bull cars were sent into traffic in pit lane.

The rain was expected on Sunday, and a street circuit struggles to drain. How the officials thought the race could possibly be restarted is beyond me. No points and abandoning the race was the correct decision.

Something must be done about drainage at street circuits!
