Well done to Scott McLaughlin and DJRTP, 2018 drivers Champion. van Gisbergen went with McLaughlin all season, but couldn't match McLaughlin across the Newcastle weekend.

The penalty post Saturday's race certainly impacted Red Bull's run for Sunday, but McLaughlin had the speed and wouldn't have been stopped.

Dominating the qualifying award across the season, 9 race wins and plenty of podiums.

A good mature drive by Scott. Good drive and win as well by Dave. While the SV penalty caused a storm in some forums and social media, there was equal praise for the stewards eventually making a decision. Regardless of that decision, history now shows that Scott would have won anyway. On to 2019...Hell February/March is a long way off.

This will be the first of many for Scott.Outstanding ,mature drives over the weekend.

Congrats to Scotty on the championship win. I am sure that there will be a few more.
It would seem that for DJR changing from a Falcon to Mustang works out quite well for them. As both times they have made the change they win the Championship in car 17.

Somewhere out there Greens Tuff is going completely off his head.
